Education: Doctor of Nursing Practice, University at Buffalo. Master of Science in Nursing, Pace University. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Binghamton University. Yasmin Bahar is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in integrative medicine and aesthetics. She has taught classes and has several publications in medical journals. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Nurse Practitioner Association of the York, and the New York State Nurses Association. Yasmin Bahar has a 16 year career in health care and worked at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital's Columbia University Medical Center campus for 13 years in the Pediatric Emergency Department and the Ambulatory Care Network. She currently works with Health and Hospital's Test and Trace Corp, the Monoclonal Antibody Infusion team at Jacobi Medical Center, and Primary Care at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She received her initial certification in cosmetic injectables through Empire Medical Training/American Academy of Procedural Medicine and continued on to train with the innovative Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Ali Mohammad, who runs numerous med spas in addition to his surgical practice. She continues to collaborate with Dr. Mohammed on protocols. Dr. Bahar uses a holistic and minimalist approach to aesthetic medicine and her patients report she has a light touch. She believes that a good skin care routine is one of the best gifts that you can give to yourself and she started her anti-aging skin care regimen when she was 18 years old. She is fascinated by the world of aesthetic medicine because it is one of the only fields in medicine where you can get instant gratification in helping patients find their ideal selves.
